RHL Collaborates in Large Scale Hartford School Relocation

MANCHESTER, CT – The Robert H. Lord Company announced that it has been awarded a contract worth $300,000 replacing school furniture for University High School in Hartford.

The school will move to its new location this summer. The Robert H. Lord Company will begin this relocation project this month and will be working closely with the architect firm Jeter, Cook and Jepson. According to Kip Heilman, Project Manager, RHL will be supplying the school with new desks, chairs, and mobile bookcases from VS, desks and art tables from Smith System and science tables and lab stations from Shain Solutions.

“This is a large scale relocation project being headed up by JCJ. We have a great reputation in Hartford, and I think we won the bid because we offered the best combination of quality furniture at an affordable price,” says Kip Heilman, Educational Furnishings Project Manager for RHL.
